Finger Counting Worksheet

The «Finger Counting» game is a fun way to learn numbers with fingers.  The game is designed for toddlers to learn to count and develop attention, logic and fine motor skills. The task is to find matching pairs of numbers and finger cards. This is a great way to learn about the connections between numbers and amounts.

Print out the finger counting practice sheets for toddlers and cut out the finger cards. We suggest doing the task step by step:

1. Pick one of the finger cards.
2. Ask your child to show the same number of fingers on their hand.
3. Then, ask the student to say their answer out loud.
4. Look for a box with the same number as the number of fingers on the card.
5. Choose the next card and repeat the steps.

For numbers from 6 to 10, you will need to combine several finger cards to get the correct number.
