Caterpillar Threading Counting 1-10 Game

The math activity «The Caterpillar and the Apple» is designed to develop fine motor skills and reinforce counting up to ten. There is also an additional exercise that goes up to twelve. In the game, children determine the length of each caterpillar and match it with the corresponding apple.

Print out the math worksheets and cut out all of the elements on the pages. Twelve caterpillars and twelve apples. Next, cut the apples along the dotted lines on the left and right. The child's task is to count the colored circles on a caterpillar and find the corresponding apple. After matching a caterpillar to an apple, the preschooler must thread the caterpillar through the apple using the special holes. This activity requires children to focus and be careful.
