Spring Garden: Shadow Matching Game
The Spring Busy Book for Toddlers helps develop visual comparison and logical thinking skills. In the game, players identify spring objects by their silhouettes and place colored cards in the correct slots.
First, print out the game sheets. Then, cut out the objects on a separate page along the outline. The playing field shows a garden with white silhouettes of various objects. On an additional sheet, you will find the corresponding colored elements to be cut out.
Have your child look at the white silhouettes on the playing field and find the corresponding colored cards to arrange on the sheet. This game provides an opportunity to talk about spring and expand your child's vocabulary. Discuss each element that the child adds: «The sun is shining brightly,» «The tree is blooming,» «The bee flew to the flower,» «The bird returned to the birdhouse,» and so on.
There are two ways to use this learning material:
- as an application (the child applies the details with glue),
- as a reusable game with Velcro (the base and details must be laminated).
