The Tulips educational game helps preschoolers reinforce their color knowledge, teaches them to match objects by color, and improves their fine motor skills. The objective is to match each flower pot with a tulip.

To prepare, print the color recognition worksheets and cut out the 18 tulips on a separate page. For convenience, use a laminator and Velcro. Lay out three playing fields on the table and shuffle the tulip cards. First, direct your child's attention to the different colors of the flower pots. For each tulip, find a flower pot of the same color. Each pot has a gray spot showing where to «plant» the flower.
