The Bilateral Coordination Game is designed to develop interhemispheric interaction, coordination of both hands, visual perception and attention in preschool children. The task is to simultaneously point with the fingers of the left and right hand to a certain shape and its corresponding color.
Print out a preschool coordination exercise and cut out the templates with 13 different colored shapes on each template. Have the child look at the first shape and then use both hands simultaneously to point out the type of geometric figure (left) and its color (right). Ask the child to repeat the exercise several times and try to complete the task at a fast pace.
