Shape and Color Logical Matching Worksheets
The educational game Shape and Color is designed to help children develop logical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to follow a sequence of steps. It was developed to reinforce preschoolers' knowledge of primary colors and geometric shapes (e.g., circles, squares, triangles, stars, hexagons, and rhombuses) in a fun and engaging way.
To prepare for the matching shapes and colors activity, print the worksheets and cut out the shapes at the bottom of each sheet. At the top of each worksheet is a color-shape chart that specifies the corresponding color for each shape. Below that is a playing field with colored squares and blank cells. The child’s task is to carefully study the pattern at the top and match each shape to a specific color. Then, they should fill in the empty cells on the playing field with the corresponding shape cards.
