Carrot Day Shape Sorting Worksheet

The preschool carrot activity is useful for teaching children basic geometric shapes, as well as developing fine motor skills, attention, and spatial thinking. The task is to match the shapes to the outlines.
Print out the game for children ages 2 and up and cut out the shapes with the carrot texture. There are 24 shapes and 24 outlines in the set.
Shuffle the cut-out shapes and ask the student to choose one. Then look carefully at the orange outlines on the game sheets and match the outline to the selected shape.
