The Groundhog Day activity for kindergarten is a fun maze for children to develop their attention, memory and logical thinking. The game task is to help the groundhog find the way to the sun.

Print out the Groundhog Day worksheets and laminate the pages for multiple use. Use a dry-erase marker for laminated pages, or a usual pencil for non-laminated paper.

The mazes vary in difficulty, and you can choose the most appropriate for your child. Give the chosen maze to your child and ask him/her to find the path to the sun. Point out that it is not allowed to cross the boundaries and if the path is wrong, it should be started again from the very beginning, trying another direction.
