«The Nutcracker» is an educational New Year's game for preschoolers that improves memory, fine motor skills, and visual perception. Players arrange the nutcrackers on the playing field so that the colors of their clothing match the colored spots. This game also encourages children to analyze and compare objects in detail.

Print the worksheets and cut out the Nutcracker cards. Use the page with the colored circles as the playing field for arranging the Nutcracker cards. For each Nutcracker, have the student determine the color of four items of clothing: hat, jacket, pants, and boots. Then, for each Nutcracker card, students will need to find the matching cell with the colored circles. Each circle shows the color of the clothing item from the top down.
