Printable Color Sequence Logic Activity

This color sequence logic puzzle is designed for preschoolers. It can help develop hand-eye coordination, visual perception, concentration, and pattern recognition. On the activity pages, preschoolers are asked to connect the dots in a circle, as shown in the example below.

Print out these visual tracking worksheets, and have your child use a pencil to draw the lines. Each activity sheet has a large circle with colored dots. Under each circle is a line of colored dots connected by arrows (e.g., blue, orange, purple, yellow, red). The child's task is to find these colors on the circle and connect them with a line in the same order as the arrows show.

For the youngest children, ages three to four, this task can be done with a finger by tracing the path from color to color. For older preschoolers, it’s best to use a pencil or marker since drawing continuous lines of varying lengths and angles is excellent practice for preparing the hand for writing. If you laminate the pages, your child can use water-based markers, erase the lines easily, and practice again.
