Compare Numbers Preschool Math Activity

These «greater than/less than» worksheets help preschoolers develop analytical thinking and logic skills, as well as basic counting abilities. This game helps preschoolers better understand quantity and learn math inequality symbols. In this activity, children count the black circles, write the answer, and select the correct inequality symbol.

First, print the Count and Write Numbers Worksheets. Using the first example, explain to your student how to count and compare quantities. They should count the number of black circles on the left, write the answer in the corresponding box, and do the same with the number on the right. Finally, they should analyze these two numbers and draw the correct inequality symbol (greater than, less than, or equal to) in the center square. The set also includes a blank template for creating your own examples.

These ten-frame math worksheets are ideal for early school preparation because they align with modern developmental requirements for preschool-aged children. Parents can use them for home lessons, and teachers and educators can use them in preschools' curricula.
