School Bus Animal Math Counting Activity

This math card game effectively introduces preschoolers to numbers and the basics of counting. It also helps develop attention, logical thinking, and fine motor skills. Players count the animals in the bus windows and match the answer to the corresponding number.

Print the math activity sheets and cut out the cards. Then, cut each card in half along the dotted line. You will end up with a set of classic two-piece children's puzzles.

The left part of each pair features a large, clearly visible number with arrows and a dotted line to help trace. The number card will also help your child practice writing the number with a pencil, which is beneficial for developing fine motor skills. The right side of each puzzle shows a bus with animals looking out the window. Have your child count the animals on a card and find its matching half with the corresponding number.
