Animals Math Dice Activity

The math board game «Animals» is meant for preschoolers to learn and practice simple addition and subtraction up to 5. The game task is to reach a kitty or a doggie on the game sheet, using a die.

Print out the game sheets and cut out the dice templates and the game chips. We recommend that you print the dice on thick paper, glue the marked areas and fix them together.

You will need two players to start the game. Each player should choose a token to play with: a token with food or a token with a toy. The chips are placed on the line with the number 1 and then the players roll the dice one after the other. Players move forward or backward depending on the results of the dice. The first player who reaches the line 10, wins the game. The game requires players to count to 5 and is very good for practicing counting.
