Farm Animals Matching Puzzles Activity
The educational game Farm Animals fosters spatial and logical thinking, as well as training children's visual memory and attention. In the game, children assemble complete pictures of animals from cards featuring their parts. This simple puzzle introduces children to farm animals and teaches them to analyze visual information and match colors and shapes.
Print out the game and cut out all the pieces along the dotted lines at the bottom of each sheet. Lay out the game sheets with the fragments and empty slots in front of the child, along with the cut-out pieces mixed up nearby. The child should take a card, identify the animal, and place the card in the empty cell to complete the picture.
For repeated use, laminate all the printed pieces. You can also attach Velcro strips to the rectangles and backs of the cards to transform the worksheets into a Velcro game.
