Spring Counting Clip Cards 1-6 for Kids
The Spring Math with Clothespins game is an educational tool designed to help children learn the basics of counting. The set includes colorful cards depicting spring and garden objects, such as a smiling sun, tulips, ladybugs, trees, garden shovels, and flowers. Players count the number of objects on each card (from one to six) and mark the correct answer with a clothespin.
Print out the counting clip card template and cut out all the cards on the pages. There are four sheets in total, each with six cards. Ask the student to choose a card, look carefully at the spring illustrations, and count them. A special feature of the game is how the child answers. He or she doesn't just say the number, but has to indicate the correct answer by placing a clothespin on it. The answer options are presented as dice with dots, which helps children better understand the visual representation of numbers. These spring worksheets are also effective for occupational therapy because using the clothespin effectively trains fingers and coordination.
