The Shadow Matching Game «Spring Train» is designed for Toddlers to learn to compare objects by shape, develop observation and associative thinking. The goal of the game is to recognize animals by their silhouettes and place the cards on the train.

Print out the worksheets and cut out 2 sets of cards with colored animals. The game includes 2 sheets of trains with 11 shadow silhouettes on each sheet. You can use only 1 sheet or both sheets for 22 cards to make the game more challenging.

Ask your student to pick a card, name the animal pictured, and place it on its outline in the train.
