Print out a set of paper cutting templates for kids on A4 sheets to help teach your toddler how to use scissors. Cutting will help to practise fine motor skills and is an essential skill for developing creativity.

There are different stripes and shapes shown on the pages with dotted lines. The child has to cut them out by following the dotted lines. Show your child how to hold the scissors correctly and tell him or her about safety in handling them. At first, you can help your child by controlling his hand while cutting.
