Preschool Opposites Activity

This opposites matching game is designed for preschoolers to help develop their attention, logic, and cognitive skills.

To prepare, print the file and cut out all of the illustrations on the game boards. The game includes two sheets, each with 12 cells, and 24 sorting cards. Children fill in the empty cells by matching each picture with its opposite. For example, they must match the sun (a symbol of day) with the moon (a symbol of night) or an open window with a closed one. This stimulates visual attention and teaches children to identify key features of objects by comparing them.
