Sports Ball Color Sorting for Preschoolers

The Sports Balls Sorting activity is designed for kids to develop attention, color perception, fine motor skills, and the ability to group objects by a common characteristic. The game asks children to sort sports balls by color and type.
Print out the preschool color sorting activity and cut out cards with colored balls on separate pages. The game has a total of 2 game sheets, each with 7 colors. You can use only one sheet or both to make the game more challenging.
Shuffle the game cards and ask the student to pick one. The child must find the appropriate cell for the card at the intersection of a row (ball type) and a column (ball color). As you do this, ask your child to name all the colors and talk about the sports in which the balls are used.
