Color Coding Logic Activity for Kids

The Coding Colors color recognition activity is an educational game designed for preschoolers to improve attention, logic, memory, color and number recognition skills. This activity also helps develop visual perception and fine motor skills as children must carefully follow the visual clues and connect the circles in the correct order.

Print the free Coding Colors worksheets and use a marker to draw the lines. We recommend laminating the game template for multiple uses.

First, explain to your students that each color corresponds to a specific number, as shown at the top of the page. The task is to decipher the number code and draw a graphic answer in each circle. Have your child look closely at the numbers under the circle and then connect the colored circles in the correct order.

To make the game more exciting, invite your child to be an explorer and solve the graphic pattern that is the code to the door or treasure chest. To better develop fine motor skills, use a string to connect the answers instead of drawing lines.
