Recycling Matching Activity
This ecology game is designed to teach children about recycling, waste sorting rules, and eco-friendly living. The objective is to match objects with the correct garbage bin.
Print the worksheets and begin the recycling sorting activity. Direct students' attention to the bins on the left. They are labeled for plastic, glass, metal, paper, organic waste, and electronics. For each bin, find a matching item on the right and connect it with a line. Children are asked to make six pairs on every sheet.
The visual cues next to the bins make the task clear, even for children who cannot read yet. This is great training for associative thinking. This eco-friendly game improves visual attention, logical thinking, and hand-eye coordination by requiring the child to draw lines to connect items.
