The educational eco-game Waste Sorting is designed to teach children the basics of ecology and the main rules of waste disposal. The set includes game boards with waste containers and cards displaying various types of waste. The task is to correctly sort the waste into the appropriate container.

Print the waste sorting activity sheets, cut out the waste item cards, shuffle them, and use a laminator and Velcro. The game boards have six waste containers for the main categories of waste: plastic (bottles and packaging), metal (cans and tins), paper (newspapers and cardboard), glass (broken dishes and jars), organic waste (food scraps), and electronic waste (batteries and cell phones). Have your students sort the 36 cards, six for each container.

Playing this Earth Day eco-game develops classification skills, logical thinking, and responsibility. Children learn to analyze what items are made of and how to dispose of them. This is a useful, practical skill for real life.
