The color-matching game Colors of Fish is designed to develop children's hand-eye coordination, color identification, and fine motor skills. Using a set of colored cards, children identify patterns of fish in two colors.

Print the educational game template for children ages three and up and prepare for the activity in a few easy steps.

  1. Cut out the fish cards.
  2. Use a laminator to make the game reusable.
  3. Prepare a set of clothespins to mark the correct answers on the cards.

Have your student take one of the fish cards and look at its color. Match the color of the fish with one of the three options at the bottom of the card. There are two colors in each box. Mark the appropriate option with a clothespin. Alternatively, you can circle the correct answer with a marker.
