Beehive Color Pattern Matching Activity
The educational game Beehive is designed for children. It helps them develop spatial perception and learn to orient themselves in space. Children will learn and reinforce concepts such as «before,» «after,» «right,» «left,» «beside,» «between,» and «in the middle.» The game requires a high level of concentration and develops visual memory and analytical thinking skills. In the game, children arrange the beehives in a specific order.
First, print out the worksheets. Then, cut out the ten colored beehives and the twelve pattern cards. The game is based on the principle of replicating a visual pattern. Children choose a card, examine it, and reproduce the color pattern by placing the colored beehives on the game board. You can also ask students questions such as: «What color is the beehive in the middle?» or «Which beehive is in front of the red one?» These questions improve children's speaking skills.
