Summer Halves Match Activity

The educational game Summer Halves is designed to improve preschoolers' attention, logical thinking, and visual memory. The goal is to match the two halves of each image to create a complete picture.

Print out the worksheets and look for the summer halves! Each worksheet has two columns. The left column shows the left halves of various summer items, such as crabs, starfish, ladybugs, beach buckets with shovels, balls, and tropical islands. The right half of the columns are mixed up and in a random order. The child's task is to find the correct match for each left half and connect them with a line.

As you work through this activity, talk about each object with your child. Ask them about the shape, purpose, color, or use of the object. These worksheets are also great for summer lessons and help children learn more about the summer season.
