The Watermelon Seeds Counting Activity is designed to help children learn to count to 20 and develop attention and fine motor skills. The math game asks children to count the number of watermelon seeds and place the slices on the corresponding watermelons on the game sheets.

Print out the worksheets and cut out the watermelon slices. Depending on your child's age, you may want to use only items to count up to 10.

Invite your preschooler to look carefully at the game sheets, name the numbers on the bottom of the watermelons, and then match the slices to all the watermelons. The number of seeds must match the number written on the watermelons.
