The Trace and Color worksheets are a great tool for early childhood education. Pre-writing activities for preschoolers will improve drawing and graphomotor skills, as well as creativity. The task is to draw simple pictures on dotted lines and then color them.
Print out the worksheets and cut out the cards. Depending on your preschooler's age and ability, you can choose simple or more complex drawings, or let your child choose the picture he/she likes. First, ask your child to trace the outline with a pencil or marker, and then to color the picture.
