Hedgehog Geometric Shapes Worksheets
The «Geometric Hedgehog» worksheets are designed to teach children ages 2–4 about geometric shapes. This activity develops visual discrimination, analytical thinking, and spatial awareness.
Print the worksheet and have your child look at the hedgehogs with white geometric shape silhouettes on their quills (circles, ovals, triangles, squares, diamonds, stars, teardrops, crescents, etc.). The right side of the worksheet features the same shapes. Children must analyze the shape on the hedgehog's back and find its matching shape on the right. Once they find the correct match, they should draw a line from one gray dot to the other.
This game reinforces shape names and teaches children to identify common characteristics among objects.
