The Easter egg activity is an effective way to practice basic writing skills, as well as improving fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. These Easter activity worksheets ask children to decorate an Easter egg by drawing different lines, shapes or patterns.

Print out these educational writing activity sheets and follow the instructions: ask the child to roll the dice and then look at the number that comes up. Each number from 1 to 6 corresponds to a specific graphic element, such as a straight horizontal line, a zigzag, a chain of circles, crosses, dots or vertical lines. The child must then draw this pattern on the Easter egg and roll the dice again.

You can also print out a large dice template in the activity kit and make it yourself.

The black-and-white Easter-themed template is economical to print and allows children to use their creativity by choosing different colours for each pattern. These worksheets are suitable for children aged 3 and over. To reuse the template, laminate the sheet and have your child draw with markers. Then wipe them off to draw a new pattern.
