Colorful Christmas Trees is an educational game for preschool students that will help them in practicing analytical thinking and motor motions while reinforcing color knowledge. The practice teaches children in preschool how to categorize items based on a recurring characteristic, such as color.

Print the worksheets, and then thoroughly inspect the colors, pointing them out by name. You may have the child match a ball to each pattern and connect the pairings by drawing a line on the dots near each object. But if the child is still unable to draw lines when doing this color activity, then cross-cut all of the pieces and look for pairs of the same color to make things easier.
