The Bird's Nest educational game is designed for children to learn colours, practice comparing objects for common features and develop logical thinking, memory and fine motor skills. The aim of this matching activity for preschoolers is to find a nest for each bird.
Print out the worksheets and cut out all the cards with birds. We recommend using Velcro to attach the elements and laminating the game pieces.
Mix up the bird cards and ask your child to choose one. Then ask your child to find the nest that matches the colour. As you play, ask your child to name all the colours.
