The educational sorting game «New Year's Balls» helps children develop their ability to classify objects by two characteristics at once: color and quantity. The task requires concentration and logical thinking to correctly place New Year's toys in the appropriate cells of the table.

Print out the game for New Year's-themed lessons, then prepare the materials by cutting out the cards with Christmas trees on separate pages. Then, use the game board where the colors are indicated at the top and the quantities are indicated on the left. Preschoolers select a card with a New Year's tree and find its place on the game board. The card should be placed at the intersection of the row (number of Christmas tree balls) and column (color of balls).
