Christmas Ornaments is an educational game designed to help children recognize colors and analyze sequences. It also helps them compare elements on a template and place them in specific cells on the game board. Playing this game improves children’s visual perception, concentration, and logical thinking skills.

To play, print the worksheets and cut out 25 Christmas tree balls, a game board with five empty cells, and color pattern cards. Use a laminator, Velcro, or magnets to make the materials reusable. Depending on the child’s age, you can adjust the rules of the game to make the task easier or more challenging.

  • For children ages 2–3, have them name all the colors in the activity, then arrange the five Christmas balls according to the given pattern.
  • For children ages 3–4, set a timer, use several color arrangement patterns, or name the colors the child needs to find.
  • For children ages 4–5, have them memorize a five-color pattern and arrange the colored Christmas tree balls on the game board from memory.
